HOW LONG DO FILLERS LAST?
Often patients believe that fillers only last 6 months to a year, however this is not the case. Fillers can last many years. The patient doesn't require fillers to replace their previous fillers , but only to enhance their face as the aging process continues.
For example, if a patient loses or gains weight then a filler can bring their face back to their preferred contour.
Fillers on lips (this is why it's important a to have the correct physician to place the fillers ) can last decades.
WHAT AREAS ARE TREATABLE WITH FILLERS?
Area’s treated with fillers include; nasolabial folds, lip lines, lip augmentation, cheek volume, jaw line improvement, jowl reduction, facial rejuvenation, liquid face lift, and neck lift by defining the jawline . Dr Fox augments lips and improves lip lines with a resulting natural and beautiful appearance.
WHAT DOES DR. FOX DO DIFFERENTLY?
Dr. Elizabeth Fox pays attention to subtle shadows and lines that show age. Even 3-5mm of shadowing on the face can add up to five years of aging perception. Dr. Fox doesn’t simply fill in lines, she restores the youthfulness to the face, which often reduces jowls and makes one appear more lean and thinner rather than fuller at the base (liquid face lift). Jowl reduction is a specialty of Dr. Fox. In order to accomplish reduction of the jowls (which also improves the neck and lifts it laterally), Dr. Fox augments the area of the lateral jaw which then visually reduces the jowl. We have seen in several patients, significant improvement of excess neck skin with this technique. This technique combined with Botox and ThermiSmooth gives a non-surgical neck loft was pioneered by Dr. Elizabeth Fox.
CANIDATES:
Candidates for dermal fillers will have moderate folds or wrinkles, or areas of the face that have lost volume. Fillers can either delay or prevent the need for a face lift surgery. One of the most significant benefits of fillers is to soften the face, improving expressions such as down turned mouth, avoiding the appearance of looking sad or mad. Fine lines are improved by laser resurfacing, Microlaser peels, and medical skin care like Obagi and Skin Ceuticals. We have taken care of people between 20-90 years old
